Birmingham Green is seeking a Healthcare Recruiter responsible for full life-cycle recruiting. The role involves developing and executing recruiting strategies, screening candidates, and providing guidance to hiring managers on the recruiting process.

Responsibilities
Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs
Screen and route resumes, schedule interviews, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within an assigned territory
Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory
Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc
Develops advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
Design sourcing strategies. Identify the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods (e.g., internet, newspaper ads, employment agencies, college fairs)
Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status
Develops and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.)
Maintains necessary files covering applications, interviews, and testing procedures
Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance
Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy
Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry
Attends in-services, department meetings, projects, or committees as assigned
Maintains all certifications necessary for employment
Demonstrates flexibility, open mindedness, and versatility in adjusting to changing environments and requirements as necessary
Commits to continually improving his/her skills through participations in education opportunities whether offered on the job, within, or outside of the facility, to increase knowledge of work-related issues
Maintains a current knowledge of federal, state and other regulations applicable to job
Maintains professional presence when representing Birmingham Green. Exhibits degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior, and appearance
Maintains resident confidentiality and privacy at all times according to Birmingham Green policies and procedures, use discretion when discussing resident matters
Exhibits professional standards through appearance and demeanor consistent with Birmingham Greens’ standards; always dresses and grooms appropriately
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of work assignments; performs assignments in a manner to meet quality and timeliness objectives
Always complies with applicable safety policies and procedures as prescribed by the organization, as well as government regulations
Plans and completes duties with minimal direction from supervisors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Two or more years recruiting experience, managing the entire lifecycle (sourcing, interviewing, offer process) as well as data analysis, benchmarking, and reporting
Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for the recruitment of experienced professionals at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams
Must be able to meet tight deadlines and must be flexible to changing work flow and demands
Proven ability in multitasking various projects
Strong communication and writing skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Caring, compassionate, creative, and energetic personality and must enjoy working with the senior population
