Research Specialist (Part-time)
The University of Colorado Anschutz Campus is seeking a part-time Research Specialist to join the Colorado School of Public Health. This role involves conducting in-person research visits, handling sensitive participant data, and supporting laboratory and biorepository functions within the Lifecourse Epidemiology of Adiposity & Diabetes (LEAD) Center.

Responsibilities
Conduct in-person research visits, including consenting, physical measurements, phlebotomy, and questionnaire administration
Set up data collection kits for visits and complete data entry
Process biospecimen, including frozen biospecimen pulls, aliquoting, and shipping
Maintain SAS code to manage a lab results dataset
Perform data QA/QC in the FreezerPro database
Regulatory compliance
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
Preferred
Experience in public health research
Experience using data entry databases, especially experience with data entry in REDCap
Experience in biospecimen processing techniques
Experience conducting in-person research visits or clinical experience
Experience with SAS coding
