Supply Chain Planner

Responsibilities

Develop capacity-feasible supply plans and provide them with the manufacturing sites on a prescribed schedule
Collaborate with assigned sites to develop short-term production schedules by taking into consideration site constraints, customer service and inventory targets
Execute planning scenarios in support of meeting customer service and/or inventory targets with a focus on minimizing E&O inventory, as appropriate
Handle long-term planning for strategic suppliers and participate in supplier capacity reviews
Deploy inventory planning strategies to maintain and improve service levels and optimize inventory investment
Actively participate in annual Entitlement activities to set inventory goals
Actively resolve SLOB disposition
Actively participate in cross-functional team to ensure planning milestones are completed on time and to achieve an appropriate balance between base business and project requirements to ensure customer service and inventory targets are met
Ensure that supply plans are developed (and communicated to the appropriate site) which are achievable, aligned to the project timeline and deliverables and support meeting launch inventory targets, and are inclusive of any promotional activities
Support Master Data setup in SAP/APO
Key goals for this position will be around delivering Service, Cost, and Cash KPIs and adherence to organizations processes and governance

Required

A bachelor's degree is required, a focus in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Logistics is preferred
A minimum of four (4) years of professional business experience is required, preferably in one or more of the following areas: Production Planning, Logistics, Purchasing, Distribution, Manufacturing, and/or Transportation
Microsoft Office – Intermediate to advance skill level is required. Proficiency utilizing Excel charts, pivot tables, VLOOKUP features without coaching/guidance
Handle multiple priorities and work independently while demonstrating initiative and strong analytical savvy
Strong analytical, quantitative, decision making, and communication skills
Up to 10% domestic and international travel

Preferred

Experience in inventory management, SAP APO, or SAP ECC
Experience with Six Sigma / LEAN / Process Excellence tools and/or certifications
Project management experience and/or certification
APICS certification
