Responsibilities
Gather requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, surveys, observations, and document analysis
Analyze business processes, user needs, and system constraints
Maintain the requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, testers, and project managers
Facilitate requirement review and validation sessions
Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, testable, and aligned with business goals
Manage requirement changes and assess impact on scope, timeline, and cost
Maintain version control and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define measurable success criteria for requirements such as – Requirements coverage with respect to percentage of requirements implemented, tested, and accepted, percentage of requirements that are clear, unambiguous, and testable etc
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 4-8 years of hands-on experience
Strong understanding of requirements engineering methodologies and tools
Experience with Agile – SAFe and Scrum development models
Proficiency in requirement management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, DOORS)
Ability to create clear documentation and visual models
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong facilitation and negotiation abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Once cleared, candidate must be able to physically be in Chantilly, VA a minimum of 3 days a week to work
All candidates must be US CITIZENS to be considered for the position
Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance at the required level
Preferred
Familiarity with Identity Credential Access Management solutions
Experience with UML, BPMN, or similar modeling standards
