Responsibilities
Assist the lead planner with executing the wedding day timeline
Support the lead planner in overseeing vendor setup and ensuring that all elements are in place as planned
Help with the setup and breakdown of wedding decor, including ceremony and reception spaces, under the guidance of the lead planner
Work alongside the lead planner to coordinate with venue staff and other vendors
Provide friendly and attentive customer service to the couple, their families, and guests
Assist the lead planner in addressing any last-minute changes or challenges, offering solutions as needed
Help organize and distribute wedding items, such as programs, favors, and escort cards, as directed by the lead planner
Assist with directing the bridal party during the ceremony and photoshoots, following the lead planner's instructions
Support the lead planner in handling logistical details
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field is required
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and assist in problem-solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful events
Must have availability to work weekends and evenings
Must be comfortable traveling up to 3 hours for weddings throughout New England
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
Preferred
Wedding experience, highly preferred
