Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing pod (SRE, Dev, Data, QA), ensuring clear ownership and high team velocity
Public Sector Execution: Partner with government customers and internal teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals
Compliance Orchestration: Translate FedRAMP, FIPS, and STIG requirements into actionable engineering work, measurable milestones, and audit-ready artifacts
Operational Excellence: Drive a culture of reliability and quality, ensuring strong documentation and traceability throughout the delivery process
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product, Security, and Infrastructure leaders to manage dependencies and bridge the gap between U.S. operations and global R&D

Required

At least 5+ years of engineering leadership, including 3+ years building software for enterprise or government clients in production/SRE environments

Structured and proactive mindset regarding SLOs, incident response, and continuous improvement
Exceptional written and verbal skills, with a focus on executive-facing status reporting
U.S. citizenship and U.S. residency are required

Preferred

Technical Depth: Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation
Compliance Frameworks: Direct experience with NIST 800-53, FIPS 140-2/140-3, and secure delivery protocols
Collaborative Success: History of partnering closely with Security and QA organizations to ship regulated products across distributed teams
