The role involves designing, deploying, and operationalizing container platforms while ensuring compliance with security and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end deployment of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4, including installation, configuration, and validation

Design and implement scalable, highly available OpenShift architectures in classified environments

Integrate OpenShift with existing enterprise infrastructure (networking, storage, identity, and security services)

Perform platform hardening and ensure compliance with DoD and IC security standards

Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, container, and Kubernetes-related issues

Develop and maintain deployment documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to client technical teams

Support platform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management

Collaborate with DevSecOps, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful adoption and operations

Demonstrated experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4

Strong knowledge of: Kubernetes and container orchestration, Linux system administration, Networking, storage, and enterprise infrastructure integration, Automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible)

Ability to deliver services on-site in: Reston, VA, San Antonio, TX or Laurel, MD
