Responsibilities
Coordinate engineering contributions in cross-functional pursuit teams, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and accountability
Serve as the focal point for engineering inputs, from capture planning through proposal delivery
Ensure technical scope, estimates, and deliverables are complete, compliant, and strategically aligned
Guide engineering teams through gating requirements with consistency and discipline
Ensure compliance with standards, tools, and templates across pursuits and active programs
Support CAMs and engineering leaders in applying EVMS fundamentals effectively
Identify risks or issues in engineering execution and escalate appropriately
Lead the adoption of the RLPM framework across engineering pursuits and programs
Provide coaching and guidance to contributors, reviewers, and CAMs on new process expectations and mentor less experienced contributors and CAMs to strengthen organizational capability
Track adoption progress and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness
Deliver training on RLPM, compliance, EVMS, and engineering best practices
Develop a pipeline of engineering talent with process excellence skills, creating organizational depth and sustained capability
Maintain a knowledge base of standards, lessons learned, and resources to ensure continuity
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Past experience with the Bid & Proposal process
Previous experience leading large engineering pursuits, including managing cross-functional teams and delivering on program objectives
Experience with RLPM and CORE, with the ability to apply these tools to program planning, risk management, and performance tracking
Previous professional experience with MS Office, BMW, and PARS
Preferred
Exceptional organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and strategize longer term projects
A desire to lead with the purpose of improving IPT performance
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with experience coaching and mentoring engineering staff
Experience presenting information to internal stakeholders and external stakeholders
Proven ability to foster collaboration, build consensus, and guide teams toward effective problem resolution
