Talent Acquisition Services Intern
Virginia Economic Development Partnership is seeking an Intern for the Virginia Talent Accelerator Talent Acquisition Team for the summer of 2026. This role will involve engaging in candidate sourcing methods, maintaining talent pools, and supporting recruitment initiatives.

Responsibilities
Engage in diverse candidate sourcing methods, including database mining, social media, and professional networks, to build talent pipelines and liaise with clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process
Research and maintain up-to-date talent pools for niche roles and challenging markets across many industries
Support initiatives that connect talent pipelines to client growth strategies
Provide screening and initial engagement support for critical roles based on client needs
Assist in other project-related tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Interest in human resources, business, or recruitment
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective time management skills
Eager to learn new methodologies
Software skills using Microsoft Office – primarily PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
Preferred
Pursuit of a bachelor's or graduate degree in human resources, business, communication, or a related field is preferred
Previous Recruitment experience (preferred but not required)
