Responsibilities

Assist with the development of high impact training/instructional content that accelerates the Safe & Secure business priorities and processes, both internally on the SAS team and enterprise wide with Carvana

Partner with teams across the organization to identify training needs of the target audience, understand the expectations for technical and leadership roles across the organization and create accurate and effective training plans and content to meet organizational needs

Leverage instructional design and multimedia skills to advise on and develop new learning materials including videos, e-learning modules, workbooks, instructor guides and job aids that will drive organizational learning and results

Drive continuous improvement of training initiatives by creating, developing and rolling out procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies and to find new ways to produce content that scales and resonates with our internal and global audience

Track employee progress during training periods utilizing Workday and Tableau reporting, along with the successful completion of program training and initiatives for all participants

Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders to ensure training programs, content, and initiatives are implemented accordingly

Functioning as a subject matter expert for all training content creation

Required

2-4+ years of instructional design experience and a strong understanding of adult learning principles

Knowledge of learning methodologies and learning management systems, specific to Workday, with one to three years of experience in safety, security or asset protection

Strong understanding of Articulate, specifically in Rise and Storyline, platforms

High skill set with Canva and all functionality within, along with the full Adobe Suite

Strong project management, organization, and planning skills

Ability to be flexible, creative and innovative, with the capability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and time critical environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills that help you to lead in a way that supports your peers, the team, and the business to grow and scale over time

Strong problem solving skills with a willingness to think outside the box

Strong collaborator who knows how to build strong relationships that drive great results

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
