Responsibilities
Assist and support K&B sales with product selection, questions, and order writing
Check orders for accuracy
Set up special orders
Schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and to maintain the profitability of the sale
Deal directly with vendors to ensure prompts and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations
Inspect goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications
Handle any delivery inconsistencies or delays
Develop a continuous business relationship with customers and our vendors
Maintain a neat and clean showroom appearance
Ensure product literature is current and in stock
Practice good merchandising including setup and traffic flow
Maintain inventory levels
Other duties may be assigned
Qualification
Required
Exceptional customer service and sales skills
Ability to engage in face to face, phone, and electronic sales
Experience in product selection and order writing
Ability to check orders for accuracy
Capability to set up special orders
Skill in scheduling deliveries to satisfy customer needs
Experience dealing directly with vendors
Ability to inspect goods upon delivery
Skill in handling delivery inconsistencies or delays
Ability to develop a continuous business relationship with customers and vendors
Ability to maintain a neat and clean showroom appearance
Skill in ensuring product literature is current and in stock
Experience in practicing good merchandising including setup and traffic flow
Ability to maintain inventory levels
