The Wellness Associate is responsible for assisting patients with the dispensing and sales of medical cannabis, managing inventory, and supporting the General Manager during operational hours.

Responsibilities
Works closely with the Manager to resolve patient complaints, concerns, and issues
Assist the Manager with the overall cleanliness of the facility by cleaning workstations, restocking strain jars, and cleaning the interior and exterior of showcases
Assist the Manager with daily and weekly inventory reconciliation
Maintain the highest level of patient and company confidentiality at all times
Provide excellent customer service to a wide spectrum of patients in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner
Accurately and efficiently process patient transactions using POS system
Maintain up to date knowledge of all company products
Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with company, safety, and sanitation standards
Ask relevant questions to determine the best medicine for the patients' concerns
Answers questions and provides general information and guidance for patients regarding policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations, communicating with sensitivity and respect
Maintains accurate inventory control and proper rotation
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to learn POS system is required
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and customer service skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
Ability to recommend products to patients
Prolonged periods of walking and standing
Must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds at times
Ability to work a variety of shifts to include days, nights and weekends
All candidates selected for employment will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to their start date. Employment is contingent upon passing these screenings
Preferred
A minimum of 1 year of retail experience preferred
Prior POS experience preferred
Cannabis knowledge preferred, but not required
