Brazil Supply Chain Director
Bridgestone Americas is a leading company in the tire and rubber industry, and they are seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead the strategy and operations of supply chain activities in Brazil. The role involves overseeing supply planning, sourcing, warehousing, and distribution while ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Lead the demand and supply planning process for the region, ensuring a balance between product availability, inventory levels, and operating costs
Coordinate local and international sourcing strategies, evaluating sources and performance
Manage logistics and people cost budget
Work with commercial and manufacturing departments to ensure accurate demand forecasting and supply capacity
Work with manufacturing departments to provide production plan within agreed control points to meet customer demand
Coordinate distribution centers, regional transportation, last mile, and reverse logistics
Implement and monitor operational KPIs such as OTIF (On Time In Full), Lead Time, Logistics Cost (% of Revenue), among others
Lead logistics digitalization and automation projects (e.g., TMS, WMS, real-time visibility, predictive analytics)
Ensure the safety, sustainability, and compliance of logistics operations
Interface with the International Logistics department
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or related fields
Inglês: Avançado
Portugués: Avançado
Espanhol: Intermedio
CONHECIMENTO TÉCNICO ESPECÍFICO: SAP, MACROS, EXCEL
SAP intermediário
Excel Avançado
Power BI
Minimum 10 to 15 years in leadership positions in logistics or supply chain, with a regional scope (South America)
Experience in complex multinational operations and diverse regulatory environments
Experience in logistics transformation, automation, and cost-efficiency projects
Strong analytical and data-driven skills
Strategic leadership and ability to manage multicultural and geographically distributed teams
Ability to negotiate and manage internal and external stakeholders
Business vision integrated into the value chain (from supplier to end customer)
Preferred
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain, International Logistics, or Operations Management (desirable)
