Associate Director, Paid Social

The Associate Director, Paid Social will be responsible for developing and implementing paid social campaign strategies, optimizing campaign performance, and managing the social team to meet client objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement paid social campaign strategies (including budget management) for assigned clients for branded and direct response campaigns
Leverage social best-practices across all social tactics
Ensure all campaign billings are up to date and finance queries are followed up in a timely manner
Analyze paid social performance against client KPI's and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders
Continuously expend and develop skills by participating in ongoing training, workshops, etc
Support any new business pitches and related work as required
Responsible for managing and developing social team in day-to-day workflow and career progression

Required

5+ years of full‑cycle paid social media experience, preferably in an agency environment
Hands‑on experience managing and optimizing paid buys across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X (formerly Twitter), and Pinterest (via API and/or self‑serve tools)
Proven ability to apply social marketing strategies to brand-building and direct response initiatives with strict KPI performance goals
2+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations
Knowledge of syndicated research tools, third‑party ad‑serving technologies, and platform best practices
Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with demonstrated critical‑thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with polished presentation abilities and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Highly motivated, resourceful, and curious, with the ability to work independently or within a team setting
Desire to work in a rapidly evolving digital landscape, consistently adapting to new challenges and trends
Ability to articulate and sell ideas clearly, delivering measurable value for clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
