Responsibilities
Execute on the settlement of Fixed Income and Equity Securities
Manage firm deficits and overall inventory
Minimize buy-in and regulatory risk
Execute client asset transfers
Manage segregation of client assets for Fixed Income, Institutional Equity, Bank Resource Management and Prime Brokerage divisions
Assisting the department with numerous functions as described
Standard settlement
Break and fail resolution
Stakeholder communication
Firm training
Escalating risk
Procedure updates
Contributing to ongoing projects including new Settlements Platforms, Predictive Analytics, Risk Matrix, AGILE work methods and our LEAN agenda
Qualification
Required
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED
Ability to provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries
Ability to work in a structured, high volume and time sensitive environment
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to details and with strong risk awareness
Strong verbal and written business communication skills
Basic accounting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Preferred
Some experience and interest in the financial services or investment banking industry
Knowledge of Equity and/or Fixed Income products and settlement market rules
