Responsibilities
Support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic
Provide Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support
Support includes automated software testing, Scrum Master support, operating in the AWS Cloud, management of JIRA/Confluence, Cyber compliance, and project support
Perform other duties and work schedules as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High School diploma/GED related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate
5 years professional experience solving technical problems
Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance
Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts
Experience ensuring that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards
Three (3) years of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area
Individual shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting
Schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend support required
Performs other duties and works schedules as assigned by management, which may include changes to duties, responsibilities, or work hours as required to meet contractual obligations, mission requirements, or the needs of the organization
Test Team Lead management knowledge, process oversight, and reporting
Process improvement, conflict resolution, and exceptional communication skills
Three (3) years' experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) software testing
Three (3) years' experience in developing automated software tests
Two (2) years' experience in an agile software development process
Must hold an active Department of Defense SECRET clearance
