Senior Engineer - Configurator Systems Integration

Responsibilities
Developing functional product development plans, including requirements, decision A3’s, design concepting, detailed design, CPPD efforts, FMEA, validation planning, and technical reports
Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of design iterations
Participating in buy-build analysis for product components and support value chain development efforts
Participating in customer support through rapid resolution to field issues
Qualification
Required
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering (mechanical or electrical), Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities
Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan
Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations
Knowledge of the critical interdependencies among individual system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results
