They are looking for an experienced Production Systems Engineer to own and evolve their on-site IT and production infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure operations for their studio and production teams.

Responsibilities
Own and maintain all on-site workstations, including asset tracking, lifecycle management, and maintenance documentation
Support production-critical systems to ensure uptime during capture sessions and active projects
Manage server, storage, and network infrastructure (on-prem and/or cloud as applicable)
Implement and maintain data management, backup, and archival workflows
Administer Active Directory, including account provisioning, permissions, and troubleshooting
Manage security infrastructure, policies, and best practices across the studio
Coordinate security audits and assessments with third-party vendors
Lead onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors (email, Slack, ftrack, Jira, and other production tools)
Manage company-wide software licensing and subscriptions, tracking renewals and compliance
Provide frontline technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
Assist with user training and technical onboarding
Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and issue resolutions
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of professional experience in IT, systems engineering, or production technology
Prior experience in a game, VFX, animation, or entertainment studio is required
Strong knowledge of networking, systems administration, and security fundamentals
Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing workstation hardware
Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux production environments
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and the ability to support artists and production staff
Preferred
Experience managing virtual machines is a plus
Comfort using shell scripts or command-line tools to deploy changes across multiple machines
IT Certifications preferred (CompTIA A+)
