Responsibilities
Driving continuous improvement of systems, processes, and product quality within the Coatings Department, including the Pickle Line and Galvanize Lines
Improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on problem solving
Working closely with Operations, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, and Quality teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and sustain improvements
Demonstrating the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline
Proactively identifies process, quality, safety, or reliability issues without being directed
Takes ownership of problems and follows them through to resolution
Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal
Works effectively with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams
Focuses efforts on issues with the highest safety, quality, or business impact
Meets deadlines while managing multiple projects or requests
Communicates clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization
Explains technical concepts in a way operators and supervisors can understand
Holds self and others to safety, quality, and performance standards
Delivers results aligned with department and company expectations
Uses data and structured methods to identify root causes
Evaluates multiple solutions and selects the most effective and sustainable option
Ensures process changes are implemented as intended
Accurately analyzes process data, reports, and trends
