Engineer Product Development- Brush
Osborn Llc is seeking an Engineer for Product Development focusing on brush products. The role involves leading product development from concept to production, translating requirements into designs, and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful product launches.

Responsibilities
Lead product development from concept through production release
Translate customer and business requirements into manufacturable designs
Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering change documentation
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFA) principles to reduce cost, improve quality, and support efficient production
Partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations during development and launch
Support prototyping, testing, validation, and root cause analysis
Drive continuous improvement for existing products (cost, quality, performance)
Support production issues and technical problem-solving as needed
Participate in cross-functional project teams and technical reviews
Experience with FMEA, validation testing, or root cause analysis
Familiarity with PLM and ERP systems
Experience supporting production launches or customer technical issues
Qualification
Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Five (5) + years of product development or design engineering experience
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar)
Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
Experience with machining, fabrication, forming, molding, or similar processes
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Manufacturing experience is highly preferred (hands-on exposure to production processes)
