Responsibilities

Collect routine, STAT and other requested blood samples from multiple long-term care facilities

Deliver and process specimens at the Main Line Health Lab

Balance multiple priorities and help manage heavy traffic flow while maintaining a positive and professional attitude

Required

2 years lab experience required

Valid driver's license and insured automobile, if appropriate

Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods

Preferred

Experience In An Anatomic Or Clinical Laboratory Preferred

Ability to work in more than 1 section of the lab preferred

Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred

High school graduate or equivalent, certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred

Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills
