Responsibilities
Lead Freshworks' highest-priority strategic initiatives, addressing enterprise-level questions that influence long-term growth, portfolio direction, and operating focus
Serve as a senior thought partner to the VP of Strategy, CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team on major strategic decisions
Drive end-to-end strategy execution — from problem framing and analysis through recommendation, alignment, and delivery
Partner closely with global functional leaders and India-based strategy teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and measurable impact
Develop board-level, investor-facing, and executive materials that clearly articulate Freshworks' strategic narrative
Conduct deep market, competitive, and financial analysis, including scenario modeling, investment evaluations, and business case development
Help elevate the company's strategic planning and prioritization discipline, ensuring focus on the initiatives that matter most
Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing strategy team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, accountability, and results
Qualification
Required
10-15 years of experience across management consulting, corporate strategy, or senior operating roles
Proven ability to influence and advise C-suite and executive stakeholders
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate data into decisions
Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing strategy or consulting teams
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and shifting between strategy and execution
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder leadership skills
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
SaaS or technology industry experience strongly preferred
MBA strongly preferred
