Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of configuration management systems

Generate program configuration management plans

Manage document release processes

Ensure BOMs are correct across all database systems

Ensure Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) are properly implemented and documented

Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings

Ensure CCB directives are properly implemented

Perform configuration verification and audits

Ensure controls are in place for proper parts tracking (serialization, etc.)

Prepare contract data item submittals to established delivery schedules

Present configuration plans and status in customer meetings

Develop plans, guidelines, and procedures regarding configuration management

Prepare cost estimates for CM activities

Provide training to staff in the use of configuration management tools

Required

Relevant experience in the field of Configuration/Data Management

BA/BS in engineering or related technical field

8+ years of CM experience, working with high complexity products

Demonstrated ability to review engineering technical data for completeness and correctness

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools

Experience with CAD data systems

Experience with Jira

Familiar with SAE EIA-649 / MIL-HDBK-61 standards

U.S. Citizenship required
