Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers on building system issues
Support installers and subcontractors with troubleshooting and system guidance
Configure and set up control systems to ensure proper functionality
Perform field startups and system commissioning to verify system performance
Answer customer’s calls by telephone and/or email to determine the nature of the problem and respond to each situation by assessing customer’s needs and provide clear and accurate responses to customer
Manage remote installation of software and control programs for building systems
Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval
Evaluate and select solutions from established options

Required

Strong communication skills
Ability to resolve issues promptly
Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and energy systems
Experience managing service tickets
Ability to approve NTEs
Experience coordinating field service activities

Experience supporting installers and subcontractors with troubleshooting and system guidance
Experience configuring and setting up control systems
Experience performing field startups and system commissioning
Ability to manage remote installation of software and control programs for building systems
Ability to recognize and solve typical and atypical problems
Ability to evaluate and select solutions from established options
