Responsibilities
Support ongoing engineering and new product development for assigned off-highway product lines
Develop and document clear, production-ready designs for new and existing products
Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
Generate initial production cost estimates and detailed bills of material
Produce manufacturing documentation including drawings, BOMs, and process instructions
Manage multiple concurrent projects while tracking critical path items to minimize development timelines
Work directly with the production team on the shop floor to resolve build and manufacturing issues
Provide clear descriptions of components, assemblies, and machines to production and inventory control
Perform engineering calculations and analysis to validate design characteristics
Monitor product performance and implement design changes to improve safety, quality, manufacturability, and profitability
Provide technical support to sales, marketing, customer service, production, inventory control, manufacturing engineering, and test or reliability teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in SolidWorks with at least 2 years of experience, including parametric modeling and bottom-up design
Strong product-level engineering mindset with experience supporting production and fielded equipment
