Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, healthcare policies, and emerging technologies. Analyze data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of projects. Contribute innovative ideas and support the execution of initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer experience
Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of healthcare-related data. Ensure data accuracy and integrity, utilizing appropriate software tools and methodologies
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with customer support activities. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Identify opportunities for process optimization and propose innovative solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Assist in the implementation of approved process improvement initiatives
Create and maintain accurate documentation, including policies, procedures, and project-related materials. Generate regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to effectively communicate project progress and outcomes
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to support a positive and inclusive work environment. Contribute actively to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Assist in pediatric service line duties
Develop relationships and contribute to pediatric growth initiatives across the enterprise
Support teams in pediatric care delivery settings

Required

Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, an accredited 4-year undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field
Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and a desire to learn and grow
Knowledge or interest in healthcare, health insurance, or managed care is a plus
Michigan resident

Preferred

This position is best suited for a student pursuing a degree in business, public health, or healthcare administration
Experience and interest in healthcare and pediatric care delivery
