The Systems Administrator role involves overseeing user and technical account management, ensuring the security and management of computer systems, servers, and networks while implementing enterprise systems and managing IT projects.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all user accounts, primarily using Microsoft 365 and Azure

Plan, secure, and supervise the company’s users and various systems

Manage user permissions and groups, including maintaining SCIM connections for provisioning users in various applications through groups

Assist in negotiating technical contracts and licensing agreements

Implement and integrate enterprise systems and associated subsystems

Develop and maintain standards for users/systems across all departments

Create and maintain device policies and deployment profiles in Intune

Maintain and update software and patch devices through Intune

Network administration of firewalls

Implement and maintain SAML certificates and expirations for SSO

Create and maintain Conditional Access policies

Monitor and update mail filters

Oversee security policies and protocols

Provide project management and direction for user migrations, implementations, on-boards, and off-boards

Work closely across departments to meet needs and manage various integrations

Develop preventative maintenance schedules for all technical hardware and software

Review and develop SOPs and other technical documentation for end users

Clearly communicate with departments, ensuring strategic information is funneled to the appropriate team members

Develop Best Practices/Standardized templates for users

Audit all user and system licensing for inaccuracies and inefficiencies

Implement automation tools to streamline IT and business processes

Respond to on-call issues and perform off-hours maintenance as needed

Respond to escalations from helpdesk members

Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity

Oversee data backup and recovery processes to protect against data loss

Required

6+ years of experience in Technology role with a heavy focus on implementation and teams across wide geographical areas and building technological infrastructure to scale

History of actively seeking better ways to utilize technological resources

Expert level knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure. Specifically, Windows, OSX, iOS, Android, Microsoft Azure, 365, Intune, Slack, Zendesk, and Google Workspace. Adequate knowledge of Salesforce, Metrc, and Tenable

Not afraid to take ownership; demonstrates a growth mindset

Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company

Exceptional team player attitude, unafraid of rolling up the sleeves when necessary

Ability to think quickly on your feet, and problem solve effectively

Possess advanced mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Perform advanced visual quality inspections on products

State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older

Will be required to submit to a background check

Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications

Travel between sites will be required
