Responsibilities
Work on reducing planning latency through further modularization and system-level architectural improvements
Analyze execution bottlenecks and help refine data dependencies and message structures
Profile and improve the performance of path and speed planning algorithms
Propose and implement algorithmic changes that reduce runtime without compromising planning quality
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, analyze data to identify potential issues
Qualification
Required
PhD, Master's students or senior undergraduate students majoring in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
Strong C++ development skills with experience in performance-critical applications
Self-driven and excited to dive into a large production codebase
Solid problem-solving and debugging abilities
Have experience of real-time system, especially latency handling
Preferred
Familiarity with motion planning, robotics, or autonomous systems is a plus
Experience with Bazel or other large-scale build systems is a bonus
Familiarity with protobuf, ROS, or middleware architectures
