Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and overseeing the human resources department that advances the mission, values and workforce needs of the organization
Partnering closely with leadership to foster a culture of equity, employee engagement and high performance
Leading the HR team and ensuring effective delivery of recruiting, employee relations, training, compensation, benefits and compliance across a varied workforce
Developing and implementing strategies and initiatives, assessing program effectiveness and leading improvements in the Human Resources department
Leading all Human Resources activities to maintain ICHS as an employer of choice, ensuring that programs and practices are assessed, evaluated and/or audited for adherence to applicable laws, regulations, rules and internal policies; and implementing corrective actions as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field
Ten (10) years of progressive Human Resources experience including a minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role
Ability to travel between ICHS sites as needed
Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance if using a personal vehicle to travel
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred
May substitute five (5) or more years of relevant work experience for a required degree
