Responsibilities
Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities
Support and encourage resident participation in daily programs and special events
Escort and assist residents to and from activity areas within the facility
Maintain accurate attendance records and document residents’ participation and responses to activities
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure activities align with each resident’s care plan
Contribute ideas for new and innovative programs that enrich residents’ lives
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's residents required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude
