Responsibilities

Lead the design and evolution of destination-focused travel packages, to enhance guest satisfaction and deepen engagement with our Canyon Spirit product
Develop and modernize products and packages by analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence. Proactively identity opportunities, address objections, and assess the commercial viability of product elements
Strategically uncover new revenue opportunities and optimize existing one to maximize profitability
Align internal stakeholders around new product opportunities ensuring clear communication, consensus building, and timely execution of changes across teams
Design, develop and implement strategies that maximize hotel availability and revenue potential, ensuring consistent package offerings and responsiveness to market demand
Oversee hotel allotment planning across all properties based on package design, rail capacity and historical demand data to inform decisions
Develop and maintain accurate hotel demand forecasts distributing insights to internal teams to enhance operational planning and responsiveness
Partner with Procurement and Destinations teams to maximize hotel block through strong partner relations and fiscally prudent procedures
Collaborate cross-functionally with System Operations, Onboard and Destinations and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying systemic inefficiencies and implementing strategic solutions
Identify current roadblocks from a systematic and collaborative lens and recommend/implement improvements that support operational excellence
Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to completion through various communication and collaborative streams

Required

Minimum of two years of post-secondary education (diploma) in business, tourism or a related field required; an undergraduate degree is considered an asset. A combination of education and experience will be considered
Must possess a valid US Driver License and have access to a reliable vehicle for travel between work locations
3-5 years of management experience within the tourism/hospitality industry
Experience and knowledge of the travel and hotel industry in Colorado and Utah
Experience with yield management / managing inventory and producing detailed analysis
Experience and/or working knowledge of travel reservations' systems
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Demonstrated effective judgement and decision-making skills including proven business maturity
Ability to set and meet deadlines as required
Able to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Committed to guest service excellence
Consistently demonstrates initiative, is self-motivated with excellent follow up
