The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring financial reporting accuracy and compliance, overseeing critical accounting functions, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
Oversee the integration and utilization of ERP systems for efficient financial management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and support external audits
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses to support management needs

Required

Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in a relevant environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis and financial modeling
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
