Configuration Analyst
SAIC is currently seeking a ServiceNow Configuration Management (CMDB) Manager to support the US Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services program. This role involves managing and overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to provide value to the customer, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with various teams to remediate discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Provide management and oversight of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and strive to provide value to the customer
Establish and/or maintain CMDB policy documentation such configuration management plan, data dictionary and definitions
Contribute to contact deliverables
Assist in ServiceNow discovery troubleshooting as well as maintaining CMDB data sources
Contribute to the overall success of core managed IT asset and Configuration Items and their mandated managed attributes
Monitors and audits CI data health reports and dashboards
Will facilitate interactions with the CI Service Owners and collaborate with applicable teams and other system owners/managers to remediate discrepancies identified in the CMDB
Will utilize all viable available configuration management tools/applications to support configuration identification, accuracy, control, reporting, auditing, remediation, and delivery of assets and configuration items in the ServiceNow CMDB
Understand IT components (infrastructure, software, PCs, Databases) and how they interact/relate and the value brought to the organization when these relationships are intact, accurate and available
Understand administration of devices using SNMP, WMI, SSH
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and two years or more experience
Demonstrable understanding/knowledge of ITOM, ITSM, ITAM, and CMDB technologies offered by vendors such as Flexera, Remedy or ServiceNow
Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Be highly motivated to work independently with remote direction in a remote environment, as well as work within a team construct
Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (such as CASP+, CySA+, Security+ CE or greater), prior to hire
Must have comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines, including ITIL v3 or above, Agile Methodology, DevSecOps, and Project Management
Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
Must have current US Citizenship
Preferred
ServiceNow ITOM and CSA certification desired
