Responsibilities
Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and leadership, addressing questions and providing guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance
Assist the HR Director with employee relations issues, performance management, and coaching support for leaders and staff
Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality
Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR program support
Ensure company policies and procedures are applied consistently and in compliance with employment laws
Assist leadership in organizational development initiatives, employee engagement programs, and HR process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely-related field
Active SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) or PHR certification (required to be considered)
3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration, and payroll
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust and collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels
Preferred
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or field-based organizations highly preferred
Bi-lingual (English – Spanish) preferred
