Responsibilities

Manages and coordinates complex administrative projects or activities that require a high degree of specialized knowledge. Conducts research, provides data, makes recommendations, and implements solutions to achieve project goals and objectives
Monitors and evaluates the project performance
Coordinates the collection, analysis, and distribution of data
Assists in formulating and writing new or amended rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs for timely and economical utilization of resources assigned to the project
Formulates groups for project teams and trains project personnel
Informs upper management on the current status of all project tasks
Manages project, program, and activity budgets
Coordinates event planning, execution, and follow-up
Initiates and maintains strong working relationships with UTSA, NSCC, and other key partners
Assists with determining organization needs and formulates solutions
Ensures adherence to university and UT System policies and procedures
Coordinate closely with and serve as a backup to the Operations Manager
Tracks budgets and expenditures associated with events and purchases
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Five (5) years of related work experience
Must be eligible to work in secure and/or restricted-access facilities and demonstrate the ability to meet all compliance standards, including those mandated by grant funding agencies and site-specific security protocols
This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure

Preferred

Higher education, UT San Antonio, or UT System experience highly preferred
