Quality Lab Technician (2nd Shift)

Amrize is a trusted name in building envelope solutions, and they are seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join their team. The role involves maintaining quality assurance processes, testing products, and providing batch corrections to ensure product conformity.

Responsibilities

Adhere to and follow all safety rules

Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies

Maintain the 5S standard in the Quality Lab and Offices

Perform work in a timely manner

Perform analysis of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods

Recommend batch corrections to ensure product conformity

Alert supervision to product quality, process quality, or machine operation concerns

Place non-conforming material on quality control hold for further review

Accurately record testing results using appropriate quality control forms and systems

Release finished goods in company systems

Safely manage and handle hazardous materials/ waste as part of lab sampling

Create and post basic product quality reports

Scan and save quality records in quality control systems

Other duties, including occasional production support, as assigned

Required

High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience

Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Calendar

Ability to read and follow English work instructions

Ability to learn and use measurement tools

Comfort in working on your own and to troubleshoot situations within the limits of your training

Personal ability to be comfortable in the Quality role knowing that you are responsible for presenting accurate data and are not authorized to make decisions on the disposition of nonconforming product

Preferred

Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred
