Workplace Violence Investigation Specialist

The Workplace Violence Investigation Specialist is responsible for investigating reports of workplace violence and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement safety plans and prevention strategies.

Responsibilities
Investigating reports of workplace violence (WPV), including physical assaults, threats, harassment, intimidation, and other disruptive behaviors
Working collaboratively with clinical leadership, legal, HR, and external law enforcement when needed, to implement corrective action plans, post-incident safety plans, and recommend prevention strategies aligned with healthcare best practices and regulatory requirements
Producing written reports of incident data and follow-up to help identify trends to help further preparedness efforts
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in investigations or workplace violence investigations
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Experience in Healthcare Security or Law Enforcement
Experience in healthcare or hospital setting preferred
Experience with de-escalation or threat assessment and crisis intervention
