Responsibilities
Provides leadership, guidance, and coordination for large DBA support teams, including coordination of complex database design, development, implementation, and support of databases for project and/or production efforts
Provide Technical leadership for architecture, design and implementation of various system components
Provide Guidance on high level design for new initiatives and analyze their impact on overall enterprise architecture
Guide team members to influence overall software strategy and direction
Take up responsibility for development of large-scale Web applications, related systems and tools, including analysis, design, implementation, unit testing and documentation
Collaborate with business owners, project managers and other technical teams
Contribute to company’s engineering standards and best practices
Participate in capacity analysis preparing the enterprise for peak load and planning for year over year growth
Suggest scalability initiatives based on capacity analysis
Qualification
Required
SQL, Oracle, MYSQL (Both Ideal)
Application side exp. - Performance Tuning databases
