This role is responsible for inside sales and customer support activities, including processing orders, providing pricing information, and maintaining customer records.

Responsibilities

Provides order status and pricing information to customers
Maintains database records of customer profiles
Maintains status reports
Expedites orders at customer request
May participate in marketing and sales activities such as travel and customer development
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
May perform shipping and receiving duties as required
Other duties as assigned or required

Required

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent along with two or more years related experience in sales or customer service with a basic understanding of office procedures, data compilation and record maintenance
Must have good knowledge of computer operations and applications
Must be customer focused and possess the ability to identify and analyze issues
Organization skills to maintain flow of work
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interface with internal employees and external customers
Ability to use judgment in handling customer inquiries and tact and diplomacy in resolving customer problems
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential
Ability to work extended hours as required
