The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the daily operations of NAR’s accounts payable function, manage a small team, and ensure timely and accurate transaction processing in compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of NAR’s accounts payable function
Manage a small team responsible for processing vendor payments, reconciliations, and disbursements across multiple entities
Ensure all transactions are timely, accurate, and compliant with accounting standards and internal controls
Own the organization’s cash log
Oversee the review of invoices, bill credits, and payment exceptions
Maintain complete and accurate records within NetSuite
Drive consistency, accountability, and process improvement within NAR’s financial operations
Qualification
Required
Experience in accounts payable management
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in using accounting software, specifically NetSuite
Ability to manage a team effectively
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to drive process improvement and accountability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience in a non-profit or trade association environment
Knowledge of financial operations within a large organization
Experience with vendor management and payment processing
