Senior Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities

Work with Payroll Manager to process 2,300 plus employee full payroll cycle, including processing of new hires and terminations
Support employees in 70+ offices in United States, Latin America, Canada, and the UK
Able to work in fast-past Accounting environment
Able to handle confidential and time-sensitive information
Responsible for state tax registration for multiple states
Position requires working closely with Human Resources department
Coordinate and ensure employee data maintenance for personal status changes, relocation and other payroll adjustments
Keep track of Monthly Timesheet submittals and Paid Time Off reporting
Prepare quarter ending Employee Turnover and Recruitment Analysis for financial reporting package
Run ADP reports, and prepare various payroll cycle files for distributions
Process payroll certifications for Clients as needed
Payroll Processing during open enrollment as well as salary adjustments
Monthly Benefit Invoice Maintenance
Processing of pay for disability leaves
Processing of Employee Garnishments and special withholdings
Assist with annual Workers Compensation audit
Assist with annual 401k Nondiscrimination Testing for purpose of 5500 Audit
Assist with annual financial audit for payroll related records
Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Position is evolving, job description will expand as needed

Required

7+ years' experience in payroll/accounting in a medium - large consulting firm (engineering, legal)
Experience with ADP Workforce Now
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Ability to work in a fast-paced Accounting environment
Ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive information
Experience with state tax registration for multiple states
Ability to coordinate and ensure employee data maintenance for personal status changes, relocation and other payroll adjustments
