Responsibilities
Design ATE production loadboards and other evaluation boards for characterization
Work closely with the test engineers and vendors to resolve component and board fabrication and assembly issues
Participate in conferences and keep abreast of industry trends
Actively participate with cross functional teams including design, SI, high speed characterization, DFT, and ATE test to implement effective test solutions
Qualification
Required
BSEE or higher with focus on RF/communication or equivalent experience
8+ years of relevant experience in ATE board design
Experience working with SI/PI teams to improve performance of high frequency signals
Proficiency in Excel with working knowledge of Cadence Allegro, SPICE, PCB impedance calculator and Perl
Critical thinking, good communication and collaboration skills
Excellent debugging, analytical and technical writing skills
Preferred
Experience with Advantest 93k board design
Experience with SI/PI simulation flows and tools
Familiar with multilayer PCB with complex high speed digital signal routing
Strong capability to drive projects and finish qualified design on time
