Responsibilities
Leading and managing IT projects from inception to completion
Identifying project requirements and ensuring they are met
Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets
Ensure that project documentation is complete and kept up to date
Collaborates with other IT functional areas to maintain and contribute to project success
Identifying and managing project risks
Monitoring project progress and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
Acts as point of contact, information hub, and escalation point for projects
Works closely with IT colleagues to measure and improve services
Conducting project closure evaluations to identify areas of improvement
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years IT experience in project management or product management
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Possesses a positive and team attitude
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment
Preferred
Insurance Industry experience is strongly preferred
Experience with AMS (Sagitta/ImageRight preferred)
Experience with Project Management systems (Smartsheet preferred)
