Responsibilities

Manage a team of engineers, surveyors, and inspection staff to produce designs for residential, commercial and industrial sites
Work closely with existing private and local government clients to meet site development needs
Collaborate with public clients to identify funding opportunities and assist them with various funding applications
Work with existing site, survey and inspection staff to provide turn-key project for clients
Recruit and mentor new staff in order to grow the site division
Work with and obtain approval from various regulatory agencies

Required

Broad experience in site design including grading, drainage, detention and erosion control
Experience with and understanding of topographic surveys
Develop project budgets and cost estimates during preliminary and final design
Good interpersonal skills
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Stormwater design include pipe sizing, detention, and other stormwater facilities – use of HydroCAD or similar for analysis
Creating project specification and bidding documents
Project management and administration
Works with local, state and federal regulatory agencies
Computer design experience with CAD (Auto-CAD, Carlson) is required
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Must complete a pre-employment screening
RGC&A is a drug-free workplace
BS in Civil Engineering required
EIT required
Prefer 10 years of experience and PE licensure, candidate with an FE and 2-5 years of progressive experience will also be considered
Licensed in the State of TN required (or the option to be licensed quickly through reciprocity)
HydroCAD (or similar storm water modeling software), comfortable in CAD platforms such as AutoCad or MicroStation

Project experience in TN, SC, and NC desired
