Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a portfolio of retail shopping centers
Handle CAM reconciliations, operating expense recoveries, and real estate tax billings
Perform month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
Partner closely with Property Management, Leasing, and Asset Management teams
Support external auditors and assist with year-end reporting
Help improve processes as the portfolio continues to grow and evolve
Qualification
Required
3+ years of property accounting experience
Solid understanding of CAM, recoveries, and commercial leases
Strong Excel skills and a detail‑oriented mindset
Someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial real estate environment
Preferred
retail real estate strongly preferred
Experience with property management/accounting software (Yardi or similar preferred)
