The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join their team as the Director of Clinical Strategy. This director-level position provides leadership and oversight to various divisions, ensuring the delivery of effective behavioral health programs statewide while promoting collaboration across systems and community partners.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Provides leadership and oversight to the Adult Services, Children’s Services, and Addictions Services divisions
Ensures the delivery of effective, high-quality behavioral health programs statewide
Guides the strategic direction of clinical services
Supports program alignment with agency priorities
Promotes strong collaboration across systems and community partners
Serves as back-up to the Chief of Programs
Plays a key role in advancing ODMHSAS’s mission to improve behavioral health outcomes for Oklahomans

Qualification

Clinical program oversightBehavioral health experienceMultidisciplinary team leadershipMaster's degree in behavioral healthLicensed mental health professionalSupervisory experienceCollaborative work

Required

Master's degree in behavioral health or related field (social work, psychology, or similar)
Eight years of professional business or public administration experience in behavioral health
Licensed mental health professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC-MH, or similar)
Minimum of six years of progressive supervisory experience

Preferred

Demonstrated experience overseeing clinical programs and multidisciplinary teams
Proven ability to work collaboratively across programs, systems, and with community partners
