Sales Manager (Dallas, TX, Mandarin Speaking Required)

Synear Foods USA is a subsidiary of Synear Food Holdings, a leading frozen food manufacturer in China. They are seeking a Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies targeting the Asian Ethnic food channel, manage sales activities, and build relationships with customers to achieve budgeted revenues and team sales goals.

Responsibilities

Partner with the VP, peers, brokers, and distributor network to develop, implement, and drive our sales strategy targeting the Asian Ethnic food channel, including retailers, wholesalers, e-commerce and restaurants
Achieve budgeted revenues and team sales goals, maximizing profitability. Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, marketing plan, business plan
Manage day-to-day sales activities, developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies outlined by the VP of Sales and Marketing and CEO
Develop and execute distribution targets and promotion plans that follow company guidelines, managing customer sales forecasts, distribution targets, profitability, and trade spend targets
Build strong and credible relationships with existing customers and channels through customer meetings, site visits, etc., to meet sales projections set by the Company
Assist the VP of Sales and Marketing and CEO in producing monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends. Coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share, monitoring performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plans
Facilitate cross-department collaborations with R&D, Production, Quality, and other relevant departments to drive product development and enhance product quality based on customer and consumer feedback
Update R&D team on a variety of food trends to create new SKUs and improve existing recipes
Being a key member of weekly/monthly sensory tasting to provide instant feedback on product quality
Participate in nation-wide food shows to approach business opportunities with prospects
Assist VP of Sales and Marketing to implement new sales initiatives
Oversee hiring, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions of department staff and/or contract staff

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Bilingual in Mandarin required
Minimum 5-7 years experience with proven track record of leadership in a sales organization/business unit in the food industry
Working knowledge of sales cycles according to customer types, i.e., retailers, wholesalers, food services, etc
Self-driven and proactive with excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations to clients regularly, close accounts, and manage an annual sales budget of at least $20 million
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast paced environment
Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned sales territory domestically and/or internationally as needed
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Proficient in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, etc

Preferred

Prior experience with Asian Ethnic retailers and wholesaler preferred
