Responsibilities
Cost Analysis: Evaluate manufacturing and production costs, comparing standard to actual results and identifying key variance drivers
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, manage reserves, and ensure proper reconciliations in line with GAAP
Reporting & Insights: Prepare detailed cost and profitability reports with actionable recommendations for management
Process Improvement: Streamline and document cost accounting and inventory procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to develop KPIs and optimize cost control strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA
5+ years of accounting experience, including cost accounting in manufacturing
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and modeling capabilities
Deep understanding of GAAP
Cost accounting principles
Inventory valuation
