Responsibilities

Direct and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, cost accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and revenue recognition

Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate deadlines

Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing financial insights and solutions aligned with corporate strategy

Ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations and act as the primary liaison with external tax consultants

Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and liquidity to support growth initiatives

Maintain adherence to FDA, ISO, CMS, and other regulatory standards within the medical device sector

Lead audits and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors

Implement and enforce strong internal controls, policies, and procedures

Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive informed decision-making

Manage ERP and financial systems to ensure scalability and integration across business functions

Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration

Required

CPA certification required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

10–15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Controller or VP of Finance

Proven experience in healthcare, medical device, biotech, or distribution industries

Expertise in ERP systems and advanced proficiency in MS Office

Strong strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills
