Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable automated testing frameworks across UI and API layers
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Test Leads to design and execute comprehensive test strategies
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless quality validation throughout the development lifecycle
Influence better software design and engineering practices through active participation in code reviews and test planning
Design and execute functional and non-functional test cases based on business and technical requirements
Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot automation scripts to ensure test reliability and accuracy
Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and promoting continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of software testing experience
Proficiency in programming languages: Python or Java, with hands-on experience in automation code development
Ability to create automated tests based on functional and non-functional requirements
Experience with: UI Automation: Playwright
API Automation: RestAssured or Karate
Scripting: Javascript / node.js and Shell scripting
Frameworks: Experience with BDD Frameworks (like Cucumber)
Tools: Postman or Bruno
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests within continuous integration environments
Practical experience in cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), with exposure to services like BigQuery and Dataflow
Experience with Atlassian tooling (JIRA, Confluence) and build tools (Maven or Gradle)
Preferred
Cloud certification (GCP, AWS)
Deep automation experience on GCP
Sonar, Fortify, JMeter, Load Runner, Spring Boot
Demonstrated ability to self-educate and stay ahead of emerging technologies and AI trends
Hands-on experience with Generative AI agents, including prompt chaining, RAG, and autonomous agents
Comfortable working in regulated industries or environments with strict compliance standards
